The unique EXG Sensor NeXus is used for various trainings, and treatments, such as the treatment of chronic tension headache, stress management training and ADHD Neurofeedback. The NeXus EXG Sensor is a dual channel sensor that delivers 2 signals of EEG, sEMG, ECG, EOG, or any combination. So, it not only delivers two channels for the price of one sensor, but it saves you more money by avoiding having to purchase a separate sensor for each electrophysiological modality.

Electrical activity is measured in microvolts. Working with electrophysiological signal at the microvolt level means that signal quality is a key factor, so great care must be taken in reducing artifacts (noise) and rejection. The NeXus EXG Sensor uses proprietary carbon technology combined with active noise cancellation technology. Instead of "hiding" noise and artifacts with the classic filter approach, it simply measures the external noise and substracts it, resulting in cleaner signals and less artifacts.

To measure a particular modality, just snap on the appropriate electrode and attach it to the client.

Note: measuring electrophysiological signals always requires a ground.
